3. Use the screws removed from the fuselage in Step
2 to secure the stabilizer to the fuselage.
Note: A small of canopy glue on the threads of the
stabilizer mounting screws will allow for easy removal, but
help prevent the screws from vibrating loose in flight.
4. Repeat Steps 2 through 3 for the remaining stabilizer.
Landing Gear Installation

4-40 x 1/2-inch socket head screw (4)
8-32 x 3/4-inch socket head screw (4)
Required Tools and Adhesives
Threadlock Light machine oil
Open end wrench: 10mm, 13mm
1/4-inch ratchet drive
11/32-inch socket, 1/4-inch drive
3-inch (76mm) drive extension, 1/4-inch drive
Hex wrench: 3/32-inch, 1/8-inch
1. Use a 3/32-inch hex wrench to remove the 4-40 x
3/4-inch socket head screws securing the landing
gear cover from the fuselage.
2. Remove the lock nut from the axle. Insert the axle
in the large hole of the landing gear. Use a 10mm
and 13mm open end wrench to tighten the lock nut,
securing the axle to the landing gear. Install both
wheels at this time.
2. Attach the landing gear to the fuselage using four
8-32 x 3/4-inch socket head screws, four #8 washers
and four 8-32 lock nuts. Use a 11/32-inch socket
wrench with extension and driver and 1/8-inch hex
wrench. Note the gear will angle forward slightly
when installed.
